About the boat

The Sea Ray SDX 270 is a 28 ft (8.4 m) motor boat built in 2020, powered by a 300 hp engine and made by Sea Ray, an American yard founded in 1959 and part of the Brunswick group. It takes up to 11 guests and has a sun shade, swimming ladder, shower, toilet and snorkeling gear.

Location

Cannes sits on the French Riviera between Nice and Saint-Raphaël. Boats leave from the port below Le Suquet, the old town on the hill, and head a few minutes offshore to the Lérins Islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat. The Palais des Festivals, next to the Vieux Port, has been home to the Cannes Film Festival since 1946.

Getting there by public transport

Cannes station (Gare SNCF de Cannes, rue Jean Jaurès) is served by TGV and TER trains along the coast. From the station, it is about a 7 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals and the Vieux Port, or take Palm Bus line 1 between Gare SNCF and Gare Maritime, about every 5 minutes.
