About the boat

The Beneteau Flyer 6 SUNdeck is a 22 ft (6.8 m) motor boat built in 2015, powered by a 150 hp engine and set up for up to 7 guests. Beneteau is a French yard founded in 1884 in Croix-de-Vie in the Vendée.

Location

Cannes sits on the French Riviera between Nice and Saint-Raphaël. The Vieux Port lies beside the Palais des Festivals and below Le Suquet, the old town on the hill, and boats leave from here for the Lérins Islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat, a few minutes offshore. The Palais des Festivals has hosted the Cannes Film Festival since 1946.

Getting there by public transport

Cannes station, Gare SNCF de Cannes on rue Jean Jaurès, is served by TGV and TER trains along the coast. From the station it is about a 7 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals and the Vieux Port, or you can take Palm Bus line 1 between Gare SNCF and Gare Maritime, which runs about every 5 minutes.
