What this site does
Goon Boat lists boats offered by their owners. You pick dates on the listing page, send the request to the owner, and the owner accepts or declines it. Goon Boat is not the owner of the boats and does not skipper them.
The booking request
A request is not a confirmed charter until the owner accepts it and the payment goes through. If the boat becomes unavailable before acceptance, the request is cancelled and nothing is charged.
Price, deposit and cancellation
The daily rate, what is included in it, the deposit against damage and the cancellation window are set per boat by its owner. They are printed on the listing page and repeated in the booking confirmation, and those are the terms that apply to your charter. Read them before you pay.
Your account
You can browse and send requests without an account; registering lets you keep your requests, favourites and invoices in one place. Keep your login details private and tell us straight away if you believe someone else has used them.
