About the boat
The Salpa Soleil 28 is a RIB measuring 8.9 metres (29 feet), with a 300 hp engine and room for 12 guests. Built by Salpa, an Italian builder near Naples founded in 1985 by Antonio and Enza Pane, it has a sun shade, a sun deck forward, a convertible rear lounge, a deck shower and a deep V hull.
Location
Port Vauban is one of the largest marinas in the Mediterranean, with about 1,500 berths, on the coast between Cannes and Nice. The old town of Antibes, with its ramparts, sits right next to the harbour. Superyachts moor at the Quai des Milliardaires below the star shaped Fort Carré, which overlooks the port.
Getting there by public transport
Antibes station is served by TER and TGV trains along the coast between Cannes and Nice. From the station, it is about a 15 minute walk to the port.
