About the boat
The Salpa Soleil 20 is a 21 foot (6.4 metre) RIB built in 2023 and powered by a 150 hp engine, with room for up to 8 guests. It has a kitchen, shower, sun shade, swimming ladder, snorkeling gear and water skis.
Location
The boat sails from Port Vauban in Antibes, one of the largest marinas in the Mediterranean with about 1,500 berths. Superyachts moor at the Quai des Milliardaires below the Fort Carré, a star shaped fort that overlooks the port. The old town of Antibes and its ramparts sit right next to the harbour.
Getting there by public transport
Antibes station is about a 15 minute walk from Port Vauban. TER and TGV trains run along the coast between Cannes and Nice, so you can reach the station by train and walk to the port.
About the skipper
A skipper is available for an extra 240 euro per day, but if you sail without one you will need a valid boat licence.
