About the boat
The Capelli Tempest 775 Open is a 26 ft (7.8 m) RIB built in 2021, powered by a 250 hp engine and with room for 12 guests. It comes from Cantieri Capelli, an Italian yard founded in 1974 that builds RIBs and motorboats at Spinadesco near Cremona.
Location
Mandelieu-La Napoule sits just west of Cannes at the foot of the Esterel massif, with its red rocks. The port lies next to the Château de la Napoule, a 14th century castle that American artist Henry Clews and his wife Marie restored from 1918.
Getting there by public transport
From Cannes, take TER line 8 towards Nice or Ventimiglia to Mandelieu-La Napoule station on Place de la Fontaine, near the seafront. Palm Bus line 22 runs along the seafront through La Napoule, and Palm Express line A links Mandelieu centre with Cannes centre about every 12 minutes. Cannes TGV station is 7 km away.
