About the boat
This 26 ft (7.8 m) RIB from 2009 is powered by a 250 hp Yamaha engine and seats up to 12 guests. It reaches a top speed of 48 knots and cruises at 23 to 28 knots, and it is built by Cantieri Capelli, an Italian yard founded in 1974 at Spinadesco near Cremona.
Location
Mandelieu-La Napoule lies just west of Cannes at the foot of the Esterel massif, where the red rocks meet the sea. The port sits next to the Château de la Napoule, a 14th century castle that the American artist Henry Clews and his wife Marie restored from 1918.
Getting there by public transport
From Cannes, take Palm Express line A, which links Cannes centre with Mandelieu centre about every 12 minutes. TER line 8 stops at Mandelieu-La Napoule station on Place de la Fontaine, near the seafront, and Palm Bus line 22 runs along the seafront through La Napoule. Cannes TGV station is 7 km away.
