About the boat

The Bénéteau Flyer 7.7 SUNdeck is a 2016 motor boat, 25 ft (7.6 m) long, with one cabin, a 300 hp engine and room for up to 9 guests. Beneteau was founded in 1884 in Croix-de-Vie in the Vendée and is one of the largest boat builders in the world.

Location

Cannes sits on the French Riviera between Nice and Saint-Raphaël. The Vieux Port lies next to the Palais des Festivals and below Le Suquet, the old town on the hill, and boats leave from here for the Lérins Islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat, a few minutes offshore. The Palais des Festivals has hosted the Cannes Film Festival since 1946.

Getting there by public transport

From Cannes station (Gare SNCF de Cannes, rue Jean Jaurès), which is served by TGV and TER trains along the coast, it is about a 7 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals and the Vieux Port. You can also take Palm Bus line 1 between Gare SNCF and Gare Maritime, about every 5 minutes.
