About the boat

The Four Winns Sundowner 285 is a 30 ft (9 m) motor boat built in 2000 by Four Winns, an American boat builder. It has a 340 hp engine, room for up to 9 guests, one cabin, a toilet, shower, fridge, kitchen and sun shade.

Location

Cannes sits on the French Riviera between Nice and Saint-Raphaël. Boats leave from the Vieux Port, next to the Palais des Festivals and below Le Suquet, the old town on the hill, for the Lérins Islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat, a few minutes offshore. The Cannes Film Festival has been held at the Palais des Festivals since 1946.

Getting there by public transport

From Cannes station (Gare SNCF de Cannes, rue Jean Jaurès), served by TGV and TER trains along the coast, it is about a 7 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals and the Vieux Port. You can also take Palm Bus line 1 between Gare SNCF and Gare Maritime, about every 5 minutes.
