The Capelli Tempest 1000 is a 33 ft (10 m) RIB built in 2012, powered by a 500 hp engine and carrying up to 12 guests. It has a kitchen, fridge, shower, toilet, sun shade, swimming ladder and snorkeling gear, and it was built by Cantieri Capelli, an Italian yard founded in 1974 at Spinadesco near Cremona.
Location
Saint-Tropez sits on a peninsula on the Var coast, facing the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and Sainte-Maxime. Pampelonne beach lies just south of the town. The fishing village became famous through painters such as Paul Signac at the end of the 19th century and through the 1956 film And God Created Woman with Brigitte Bardot.
Getting there by public transport
Saint-Tropez has no train station. ZOU! bus line 876 runs from Saint-Raphaël Valescure station via Sainte-Maxime, and ZOU! lines 878 and 879 run from Toulon station. Les Bateaux Verts sail all year from Sainte-Maxime and Port Grimaud, Les Bateaux Bleus sail from Saint-Raphaël, and Trans Côte d’Azur sails from Cannes and Nice in high season.
