About the boat

The 2026 Dufour 44 is a 46 foot (13.9 m) sailboat with three cabins, a 57 hp engine and room for up to 8 guests, fitted with a kitchen, fridge, shower, toilet and sun shade. It comes from Dufour Yachts, a French yard in La Rochelle founded in 1964.

Location

Golfe-Juan sits in the bay between Cannes and Cap d’Antibes, as part of the town of Vallauris. The port has two harbours, Port Camille Rayon and the Vieux Port. On 1 March 1815 Napoleon landed on the beach here on his return from Elba, the start of the Route Napoléon.

Getting there by public transport

From Cannes, take TER line 8 to Golfe-Juan station, with trains about every half hour, or Envibus line 18 to Golfe-Juan/Vallauris. From Nice airport, line 82 links the airport with Golfe-Juan/Vallauris every day. From Nice, coach line 620 runs to Cannes and stops at Square Nabonnand.
