The Ferretti 36 is a 36 ft (11 m) motor boat built in 1990 by Ferretti Yachts, an Italian yard founded in 1968 in Forlì. It has a 540 hp engine, two cabins, a kitchen, a fridge, a shower and a toilet, and takes up to six guests.
Location
Cannes lies on the French Riviera between Nice and Saint-Raphaël. The Vieux Port sits next to the Palais des Festivals and below Le Suquet, the old town on the hill, and boats leave from here for the Lérins Islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat, a few minutes offshore. The Palais has hosted the Cannes Film Festival since 1946.
Getting there by public transport
From Cannes station (Gare SNCF de Cannes, rue Jean Jaurès), served by TGV and TER trains along the coast, it is about a 7 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals and the Vieux Port. Or take Palm Bus line 1 between Gare SNCF and Gare Maritime, about every 5 minutes.
