The Galeon 500 Fly is a 2022 motor boat, 16 m (52 ft) long, with 2 cabins, room for up to 12 guests and 670 hp engines. It has a flybridge with an outdoor lounge, sunbed and helm station, plus deployable side balconies, and it is built by Galeon, a Polish yard near Gdansk founded in 1982.
Location
Cannes lies on the French Riviera between Nice and Saint-Raphaël. The Vieux Port sits next to the Palais des Festivals and below Le Suquet, the old town on the hill, and boats leave from here for the Lérins Islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat, a few minutes offshore. The Cannes Film Festival has been held here since 1946.
Getting there by public transport
Cannes station (Gare SNCF de Cannes, rue Jean Jaurès) is served by TGV and TER trains along the coast. From there it is about a 7 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals and the Vieux Port, or take Palm Bus line 1 between Gare SNCF and Gare Maritime, about every 5 minutes.
