About the boat

The Tiger 740 Proline is a 2023 RIB measuring 25 ft (7.5 m) with a 150 hp engine and room for 8 guests. It comes with a shower, sun shade, forward sunbathing area, GPS sounder, Bluetooth speaker, electric anchor, rear bathing platform, swim ladder and generous storage.

Location

Port Saint-Pierre in Hyères lies on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, facing the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Boats to Port-Cros and Le Levant leave from the port of Hyères, while boats to Porquerolles leave from La Tour Fondue on the Giens peninsula. Port-Cros became a national park in 1963, and Hyères was one of the first winter resorts on the Riviera in the 19th century.

Getting there by public transport

Take the TER train from Toulon, which ends at Hyères station in about 20 minutes, or connect from Marseille Saint-Charles in about 1h15 to 1h30. From the town centre, Réseau Mistral bus line 67 runs to the port in about 18 minutes, starting from the Jean Jaurès stop. Toulon-Hyères airport is a few kilometres from the centre and is linked to the centre and the station by a Mistral bus line.
