Location
Golfe-Juan lies in the bay between Cannes and Cap d’Antibes, as part of the town of Vallauris. The town has two harbours, Port Camille Rayon and the Vieux Port. On 1 March 1815 Napoleon landed on the beach of Golfe-Juan on his return from Elba, the start of the Route Napoléon.
Getting there by public transport
From Cannes, take TER line 8 (Mandelieu, Cannes, Nice, Ventimiglia) to Golfe-Juan station, with trains about every half hour. Envibus line 18 also runs between Cannes and Golfe-Juan/Vallauris. Coach line 620 from Nice stops at Square Nabonnand, and line 82 links Nice airport with Golfe-Juan/Vallauris every day.
