About the boat

The Saver MG 820 is a 2021 RIB measuring 8.2 m (27 ft) in length, with a 300 hp engine and room for up to 14 guests. It has sun pads at the bow and stern, a sun shade, a shower, a convertible lounge, a fridge, Bluetooth MP3 and a ski arch.

Location

Port Saint-Pierre in Hyères lies on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, facing the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Port-Cros is a national park created in 1963, and Hyères was one of the first winter resorts on the Riviera in the 19th century. Boats to Porquerolles leave from La Tour Fondue on the Giens peninsula, while boats to Port-Cros and Le Levant leave from the port of Hyères.

Getting there by public transport

Hyères train station is the end of the TER line from Toulon, about 20 minutes, with connections from Marseille Saint-Charles in about 1h15 to 1h30. From the town centre, stop Jean Jaurès, take Réseau Mistral bus line 67 to the port in about 18 minutes. Toulon-Hyères airport is a few kilometres from the centre and is linked to the centre and the station by a Mistral bus line.
