Location
Golfe-Juan lies in the bay between Cannes and Cap d’Antibes, as part of the town of Vallauris. The town has two harbours, Port Camille Rayon and the Vieux Port. Napoleon landed on its beach on 1 March 1815, returning from Elba, the start of the Route Napoléon.
Getting there by public transport
From Cannes, take Envibus line 18 to Golfe-Juan and Vallauris, or TER line 8, which runs about every half hour from Golfe-Juan station towards Mandelieu, Cannes, Nice and Ventimiglia. Coach line 620 between Nice and Cannes stops at Square Nabonnand, and line 82 links Nice airport with Golfe-Juan and Vallauris every day.
