The Riva Monte Carlo 30 Offshorer is a 30 foot (9 m) motor boat built in 1987 by Riva, an Italian yard founded in 1842 in Sarnico on Lake Iseo. It has a 910 hp engine, one cabin, room for six guests, a shower, snorkeling gear and a sun shade.
Location
Cannes sits on the French Riviera between Nice and Saint-Raphaël. From the Vieux Port, next to the Palais des Festivals and below the old town of Le Suquet, boats leave for the Lérins Islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat, only a few minutes offshore. The Cannes Film Festival has been held at the Palais des Festivals since 1946.
Getting there by public transport
Cannes station (Gare SNCF de Cannes, rue Jean Jaurès) is served by TGV and TER trains along the coast. From the station it is about a 7 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals and the Vieux Port, or you can take Palm Bus line 1 between Gare SNCF and Gare Maritime, about every 5 minutes.
