Location
Port Saint-Pierre lies in Hyères on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, facing the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Boats to Port-Cros and Le Levant leave from the port of Hyères. Port-Cros became a national park in 1963, and Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century.
Getting there by public transport
Take the TER line from Toulon to Hyères train station, about 20 minutes, or connect from Marseille Saint-Charles in about 1h15 to 1h30. From the town centre, take Réseau Mistral bus line 67 from the Jean Jaurès stop to the port, about 18 minutes. Toulon-Hyères airport is a few kilometres from the centre and is linked to it by a Mistral bus line.
