Location
Port Saint-Pierre in Hyères sits on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, facing the Golden Isles: Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Port-Cros is a national park created in 1963, so expect a wild, protected setting a few minutes from the port. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century.
Getting there by public transport
Take the TER train from Toulon to Hyères station, about 20 minutes, or come from Marseille Saint-Charles, about 1h15 to 1h30. From the town centre, stop Jean Jaurès, take Réseau Mistral bus line 67 to the port, about 18 minutes.
