Location
Port Saint-Pierre sits in Hyères on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, facing the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century. Boats to Port-Cros and Le Levant leave from here, while boats to Porquerolles leave from La Tour Fondue on the Giens peninsula.
Getting there by public transport
From Toulon, take the TER train to Hyères station, about 20 minutes. From Marseille Saint-Charles, expect about 1h15 to 1h30 with connections. From the town centre, Réseau Mistral bus line 67 runs to the port in about 18 minutes, boarding at the Jean Jaurès stop. Toulon-Hyères airport is a few kilometres from the centre and is linked by a Mistral bus line.
