Location
Port Saint-Pierre sits in Hyères (Hyères-les-Palmiers) on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez. It faces the Golden Isles: Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Port-Cros became a national park in 1963, and Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century.
Getting there by public transport
Take the TER from Toulon to Hyères train station, about 20 minutes. From the town centre stop Jean Jaurès, Réseau Mistral bus line 67 reaches the port in about 18 minutes. Trains from Marseille Saint-Charles take about 1h15 to 1h30 with a connection at Toulon.
