About the boat

The Leopard 43 Powercat is a 13 m (43 ft) motor catamaran with two diesel engines totalling 639 hp, built by Robertson and Caine in Cape Town, South Africa. It sleeps up to 10 guests in 3 cabins and 2 bathrooms, with air conditioning, a kitchen, a fridge, a shower, a toilet, a sun shade and a 320 cm aluminium tender with a 15 hp engine.

Location

Port Saint-Pierre is in Hyères, on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, and it faces the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Port-Cros is a national park created in 1963. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts on the Riviera in the 19th century.

Getting there by public transport

From Toulon, take the TER train to Hyères station, about 20 minutes, which is the end of the line. From Marseille Saint-Charles, take a train with connections to Hyères, about 1h15 to 1h30. From the town centre stop Jean Jaurès, take Réseau Mistral bus line 67 to the port, about 18 minutes. Toulon-Hyères airport is a few kilometres from the centre and is linked by a Mistral bus line.
