The Lagoon 40 Motor Yacht is 39 ft (12 m) long and was built in 2015. The Lagoon brand is a French catamaran builder of Groupe Beneteau, based in Bordeaux. It has a 150 hp engine, four cabins and room for up to 12 guests, with a fridge, kitchen, shower, toilet, sun shade, swimming ladder, paddle board and snorkeling gear on board.
Location
Cannes sits on the French Riviera between Nice and Saint-Raphaël. Boats leave from the Vieux Port, next to the Palais des Festivals and below Le Suquet, the old town on the hill, and reach the Lérins Islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat, within a few minutes. The Cannes Film Festival has been held since 1946.
Getting there by public transport
Trains on the TGV and TER lines along the coast stop at Cannes station, Gare SNCF de Cannes, on rue Jean Jaurès. From the station it is about a 7 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals and the Vieux Port, or you can take Palm Bus line 1 between Gare SNCF and Gare Maritime, about every 5 minutes.
