Location
Port Saint-Pierre in Hyères sits on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, facing the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Boats to Porquerolles leave from La Tour Fondue on the Giens peninsula, while boats to Port-Cros and Le Levant leave from the Hyères port. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century.
Getting there by public transport
Take the TER train from Toulon to Hyères station, about 20 minutes, or from Marseille Saint-Charles, about 1h15 to 1h30. From the town centre, take Réseau Mistral bus line 67 from the Jean Jaurès stop to the port, about 18 minutes.
