About the boat

The Joker Boat Wide 700 is a 7 m (23 ft) RIB built by Joker Boat, an Italian RIB builder. It has a 200 hp Suzuki four stroke engine with electric controls, a bimini sun shade, sunbathing areas at bow and stern, a GPS sounder, a Bluetooth sound system and a shower, and it takes up to 10 guests.

Location

Port Saint-Pierre sits in Hyères on the Var coast, between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, and faces the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Boats to Port-Cros and Le Levant leave from the port of Hyères, while boats to Porquerolles leave from La Tour Fondue on the Giens peninsula. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century, and Port-Cros became a national park in 1963.

Getting there by public transport

From Toulon, take the TER train to Hyères station, about 20 minutes. From Marseille Saint-Charles, allow about 1h15 to 1h30 with connections. From the Hyères town centre, take Réseau Mistral bus line 67 from the Jean Jaurès stop to the port, a trip of about 18 minutes.

About the skipper

A skipper is available for an extra 240 euro per day, and without a skipper a boat licence is required.
