Location
Port Saint-Pierre sits in Hyères-les-Palmiers on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, facing the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Boats to Port-Cros and Le Levant leave from the port of Hyères, while boats to Porquerolles leave from La Tour Fondue on the Giens peninsula. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century.
Getting there by public transport
Take the TER train from Toulon to Hyères station, about 20 minutes, or connect from Marseille Saint-Charles in about 1h15 to 1h30. From the town centre, Réseau Mistral bus line 67 runs to the port in about 18 minutes, boarding at the Jean Jaurès stop.
