About the boat

This 8 metre (26 ft) Jeanneau Leader 805 motor boat was built in 2002 and has a 320 hp engine, one cabin, a kitchen, a shower and a toilet, for up to 8 guests. Jeanneau was founded in 1957 by Henri Jeanneau in Les Herbiers in the Vendée and is part of Groupe Beneteau.

Location

Mandelieu-La Napoule sits just west of Cannes at the foot of the Esterel massif, known for its red rocks. The port lies next to the Château de la Napoule, a 14th century castle that the American artist Henry Clews and his wife Marie restored from 1918.

Getting there by public transport

From Cannes, take Palm Express line A, which links Cannes centre with Mandelieu centre about every 12 minutes. The Mandelieu-La Napoule station on Place de la Fontaine, near the seafront, is served by TER line 8 towards Cannes, Nice and Ventimiglia, and Palm Bus line 22 runs along the seafront through La Napoule. Cannes TGV station is 7 km away.
