About the boat

Location

Cannes sits on the French Riviera between Nice and Saint-Raphaël. The Vieux Port lies beside the Palais des Festivals and below Le Suquet, the old town on the hill, and boats leave from here for the Lérins Islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat, a few minutes offshore. The Cannes Film Festival has been held at the Palais des Festivals since 1946.

Getting there by public transport

Cannes station (Gare SNCF de Cannes, rue Jean Jaurès) is served by TGV and TER trains along the coast. From the station it is about a 7 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals and the Vieux Port, or you can take Palm Bus line 1 between Gare SNCF and Gare Maritime, about every 5 minutes.

About the skipper

The skipper is included in the price, and no boat licence is required.
