The Itama 40 is a 13 m (43 ft) motor boat built in 2004 and powered by a 900 hp engine. It has one cabin, room for up to 12 guests, and comes from Itama, an Italian open yacht brand of the Ferretti Group.
Location
Cannes lies on the French Riviera between Nice and Saint-Raphaël. The Vieux Port sits next to the Palais des Festivals, home of the Cannes Film Festival since 1946, and below Le Suquet, the old town on the hill. Boats leave from the port for the Lérins Islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat, a few minutes offshore.
Getting there by public transport
Cannes station, on rue Jean Jaurès, is served by TGV and TER trains along the coast. From the station it is about a 7 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals and the Vieux Port. You can also take Palm Bus line 1 between Gare SNCF and Gare Maritime, which runs about every 5 minutes.
