Location
Port Saint-Pierre in Hyères sits on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez and faces the Golden Isles: Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Port-Cros is a national park created in 1963. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century.
Getting there by public transport
From Toulon, take the TER train to Hyères station, about 20 minutes. From Marseille Saint-Charles, allow about 1h15 to 1h30 with a connection. From the town centre stop Jean Jaurès, take Réseau Mistral bus line 67 to the port, about 18 minutes. Toulon-Hyères airport is a few kilometres from the centre and is linked by a Mistral bus line.
