Location
Hyères sits on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, and Port Saint-Pierre faces the Golden Isles: Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Port-Cros is a national park, created in 1963. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century.
Getting there by public transport
From Toulon, take the TER line to Hyères station, about 20 minutes, or come from Marseille Saint-Charles with connections, about 1h15 to 1h30. From the town centre stop Jean Jaurès, Réseau Mistral bus line 67 reaches the port in about 18 minutes.
