Location
Port Saint-Pierre sits in Hyères on the Var coast, between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, and faces the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Boats to Porquerolles leave from La Tour Fondue on the Giens peninsula, while boats to Port-Cros and Le Levant leave from the port itself. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts on the Riviera in the 19th century.
Getting there by public transport
Take the TER train from Toulon to Hyères station, about 20 minutes, or connect from Marseille Saint-Charles in about 1h15 to 1h30. From the town centre stop Jean Jaurès, Réseau Mistral bus line 67 reaches the port in about 18 minutes. Toulon-Hyères airport is a few kilometres from the centre and is linked to the centre and the station by a Mistral bus line.
