About the boat

The Dufour 41 is a 42 ft (12.8 m) sailboat built in 2025 by Dufour Yachts, a French yard in La Rochelle founded in 1964. It has 3 cabins for up to 6 guests, a 45 hp engine, a sun shade and a toilet on board.

Location

Golfe-Juan lies in the bay between Cannes and Cap d’Antibes, as part of the town of Vallauris. The town has two harbours, Port Camille Rayon and the Vieux Port. Napoleon landed on the beach here on 1 March 1815, on his return from Elba, and the Route Napoléon began from this point.

Getting there by public transport

From Cannes, take Envibus line 18 to Golfe-Juan/Vallauris. From Nice, take TER line 8 to Golfe-Juan station, with trains about every half hour. Coach line 620 between Nice and Cannes stops at Square Nabonnand, and line 82 links Nice airport with Golfe-Juan/Vallauris every day.
