Getting there by public transport
Cannes station, on rue Jean Jaurès, is served by TGV and TER trains along the coast. From the station, the Vieux Port and Palais des Festivals are about a 7 minute walk, or you can take Palm Bus line 1 between Gare SNCF and Gare Maritime, about every 5 minutes.
