About the boat

The Capelli Tempest 775 Open is a 2018 RIB measuring 7.8 m (26 ft), built by Cantieri Capelli, an Italian yard founded in 1974 at Spinadesco near Cremona. It has a 250 hp Yamaha engine, seats up to 10 guests and has a large forward sunbathing area, a sun awning, a fridge and a GPS with depth sounder.

Location

Mandelieu-La Napoule lies just west of Cannes at the foot of the Esterel massif with its red rocks. The port sits next to the Château de la Napoule. That 14th century castle was restored from 1918 by the American artist Henry Clews and his wife Marie.

Getting there by public transport

Mandelieu-La Napoule station, on Place de la Fontaine near the seafront, is served by TER line 8 towards Cannes, Nice and Ventimiglia. From Cannes centre, Palm Express line A runs to Mandelieu centre about every 12 minutes. Palm Bus line 22 runs along the seafront through La Napoule to Cannes La Bocca and Cannes. Cannes TGV station is 7 km away.
