The Capelli Tempest 40 is a 2016 RIB measuring 12 m (39 ft), with a 700 hp engine, one cabin and room for 11 guests. It was built by Cantieri Capelli, an Italian yard founded in 1974 at Spinadesco near Cremona.
Location
Cannes lies on the French Riviera between Nice and Saint-Raphaël. Boats leave from the Vieux Port, which sits beside the Palais des Festivals and below Le Suquet, the old town on the hill, heading for the Lérins Islands a few minutes offshore. The Palais des Festivals has been home to the Cannes Film Festival since 1946.
Getting there by public transport
Cannes station (Gare SNCF de Cannes, rue Jean Jaurès) is served by TGV and TER trains along the coast. From the station it is about a 7 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals and the Vieux Port, or you can take Palm Bus line 1 between Gare SNCF and Gare Maritime, which runs about every 5 minutes.
