About the boat
The Caparros Catabarge is a 9 m (30 ft) motor catamaran built in 1989, powered by a 100 hp engine and rated for 12 guests. Its twin hull gives good stability, and the deck offers lounge areas, shaded seating and a swimming ladder.
Location
Golfe-Juan lies in the bay between Cannes and Cap d’Antibes, part of the town of Vallauris. The town has two harbours, Port Camille Rayon and the Vieux Port. In 1815 Napoléon landed on its beach on his return from Elba, the start of the Route Napoléon.
Getting there by public transport
From Cannes, take Envibus line 18 to Golfe-Juan/Vallauris. From Nice, take TER line 8 to Golfe-Juan station, with trains about every half hour. You can also take coach line 620 from Nice to Square Nabonnand and connect to Envibus line 18. Line 82 links Nice airport with Golfe-Juan/Vallauris every day.
