About the boat
The BSC 73 Ocean is a 2011 RIB from the Italian builder BSC, measuring 7.2 m (24 ft) with a 200 hp engine and room for up to 12 guests. It is set up for family trips and comes with a sun shade.
Location
Port Saint-Pierre is in Hyères, on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, facing the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Port-Cros became a national park in 1963. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century.
Getting there by public transport
Take the TER train to Hyères station, the end of the line from Toulon, about 20 minutes, or connect from Marseille Saint-Charles in about 1h15 to 1h30. Réseau Mistral bus line 67 runs from the town centre, stop Jean Jaurès, to the port in about 18 minutes. Toulon-Hyères airport is a few kilometres from the centre and is linked by a Mistral bus line.
