About the boat
The Bénéteau Flyer 8 SUNdeck is a 2024 motor boat measuring 27 ft (8.2 m) with a 300 hp engine, one cabin and room for up to 10 guests. Beneteau, founded in 1884 by Benjamin Bénéteau in Croix-de-Vie in the Vendée, is one of the largest boat builders in the world.
Location
Port Vauban lies between Cannes and Nice and is one of the largest marinas in the Mediterranean, with about 1,500 berths. Superyachts moor at the Quai des Milliardaires below the Fort Carré, and the old town of Antibes with its ramparts is right next to the harbour. The star shaped Fort Carré overlooks the port.
Getting there by public transport
Antibes station is served by TER and TGV trains running along the coast between Cannes and Nice. From the station it is about a 15 minute walk to Port Vauban.
