About the boat

The Beneteau Flyer 7.7 SUNdeck is a 2017 motor boat, 25 ft (7.5 m) long, with a 250 hp engine, one cabin and room for 10 guests. Beneteau is a French yard founded in 1884 in Croix-de-Vie in the Vendée, one of the largest boat builders in the world.

Location

Mandelieu-La Napoule lies just west of Cannes, at the foot of the Esterel massif with its red rocks. The port of La Napoule sits next to the Château de la Napoule, a 14th century castle. It was restored from 1918 by the American artist Henry Clews and his wife Marie.

Getting there by public transport

Mandelieu-La Napoule station, on Place de la Fontaine near the seafront, is served by TER line 8 towards Cannes, Nice and Ventimiglia. Palm Bus line 22 runs along the seafront from Le Trayas and Théoule-sur-Mer through La Napoule to Cannes. From Cannes centre, Palm Express line A links Mandelieu centre about every 12 minutes. Cannes TGV station is 7 km away.
