Mandelieu-La Napoule lies just west of Cannes at the foot of the Esterel massif, known for its red rocks. The port sits next to the Château de la Napoule, a 14th century castle that the American artist Henry Clews and his wife Marie restored from 1918.
Getting there by public transport
The nearest station is Mandelieu-La Napoule, at Place de la Fontaine near the seafront, served by TER line 8 towards Cannes, Nice and Ventimiglia. From Cannes, take Palm Express line A, which links Cannes centre with Mandelieu centre about every 12 minutes, or Palm Bus line 22, which runs along the seafront through La Napoule. Cannes TGV station is 7 km away.
