Location
Port Saint-Pierre in Hyères sits on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, facing the Golden Isles. Boats to Port-Cros and Le Levant leave from the port, while boats to Porquerolles depart from La Tour Fondue on the Giens peninsula. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century.
Getting there by public transport
From Hyères train station, the TER line from Toulon takes about 20 minutes, and connections from Marseille Saint-Charles take about 1h15 to 1h30. From the town centre, take Réseau Mistral bus line 67 from the Jean Jaurès stop to the port, a trip of about 18 minutes.
