About the boat

The Bali 4.2 is a 12.8 m (42 ft) catamaran with 3 cabins for up to 6 guests and a 46 hp engine. Built by Bali Catamarans in Canet-en-Roussillon, it has a sun shade, a toilet, an autopilot and a solar panel.

Location

The boat sails from Port Saint-Pierre in Hyères, on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, facing the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Boats to Port-Cros and Le Levant leave from the Hyères port, while boats to Porquerolles leave from La Tour Fondue. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century.

Getting there by public transport

From Toulon, take the TER train to Hyères station, about 20 minutes, or come from Marseille Saint-Charles in about 1h15 to 1h30 with connections. From the town centre, take Réseau Mistral bus line 67 from the Jean Jaurès stop to the port, about 18 minutes. Toulon-Hyères airport is linked to the centre and the station by a Mistral bus line.

About the skipper

A skipper is available as an option for 270 euro per day, and a boat licence is required to sail the boat.
