The Capelli Tempest 850 WA is a 2011 RIB measuring 28 ft (8.5 m), built by Cantieri Capelli, an Italian yard founded in 1974 that builds RIBs and motorboats at Spinadesco near Cremona. It has a 300 hp Yamaha engine, one cabin and room for up to 14 guests.
Location
Mandelieu-La Napoule lies just west of Cannes, at the foot of the Esterel massif and its red rocks. The port of La Napoule sits next to the Château de la Napoule, a 14th century castle that American artist Henry Clews and his wife Marie began restoring in 1918.
Getting there by public transport
The nearest station is Mandelieu-La Napoule on Place de la Fontaine, near the seafront, served by TER line 8 towards Cannes, Nice and Ventimiglia. From there, Palm Bus line 22 runs along the seafront to Cannes, and Palm Express line A links Mandelieu centre with Cannes centre about every 12 minutes. Cannes TGV station is 7 km away.
