The Capelli Tempest 900 is a 29 ft (8.7 m) RIB built in 2024 by Cantieri Capelli, an Italian yard founded in 1974 at Spinadesco near Cremona. It carries up to 18 guests and is powered by two 250 hp Yamaha engines, with a sun shade, shower, kitchen, toilet and swimming ladder.
Location
Mandelieu La Napoule sits just west of Cannes at the foot of the Esterel massif, known for its red rocks. The port lies next to the Château de la Napoule, a 14th century castle that American artist Henry Clews and his wife Marie restored from 1918.
Getting there by public transport
The nearest big town is Cannes. From Mandelieu-La Napoule station, on Place de la Fontaine near the seafront, TER line 8 runs towards Cannes, Nice and Ventimiglia. From Cannes, take Palm Express line A, which links Mandelieu centre with Cannes centre about every 12 minutes. Cannes TGV station is 7 km away.
