The Capelli Tempest 850 WA is an 8.5 m (28 ft) RIB built in 2014, with one cabin, a 350 hp engine and room for up to 10 guests. It comes from Cantieri Capelli, an Italian yard founded in 1974 at Spinadesco near Cremona.
Location
The port of Mandelieu-La Napoule lies just west of Cannes, at the foot of the Esterel massif with its red rocks. It sits next to the Château de la Napoule, a 14th century castle restored from 1918 by the American artist Henry Clews and his wife Marie.
Getting there by public transport
Mandelieu-La Napoule station on TER line 8, towards Cannes, Nice and Ventimiglia, is at Place de la Fontaine near the seafront. Palm Bus line 22 runs along the seafront through La Napoule to Cannes, and Palm Express line A links Mandelieu centre with Cannes centre about every 12 minutes. Cannes TGV station is 7 km away.
