About the boat

The Quicksilver Activ 555 Open Edition Smart is a 2024 motor boat, 5.5 m (18 ft) long, with a 115 hp engine and room for six guests. It is built by Quicksilver, a boat brand of the American group Brunswick, and comes with snorkeling gear, a paddle board, a swimming ladder and a sun shade.

Location

Mandelieu-La Napoule lies just west of Cannes, at the foot of the Esterel massif and its red rocks. The port of La Napoule sits next to the Château de la Napoule, a 14th century castle. It was restored from 1918 by the American artist Henry Clews and his wife Marie.

Getting there by public transport

Mandelieu-La Napoule station, on Place de la Fontaine near the seafront, is served by TER line 8 towards Cannes, Nice and Ventimiglia. From Mandelieu centre, Palm Express line A reaches Cannes centre about every 12 minutes. Palm Bus line 22 runs along the seafront to Cannes, and Cannes TGV station is 7 km away.
