The Zodiac Medline 500 is a 2014 RIB, 16 feet (5 m) long, with a 50 hp engine and room for up to 5 guests. Zodiac is a French company founded in 1896, known for its inflatable boats.
Location
Port Saint-Pierre sits in Hyères on the Var coast, between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, facing the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Boats to Port-Cros and Le Levant leave from the port of Hyères, while boats to Porquerolles leave from La Tour Fondue on the Giens peninsula. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts on the Riviera in the 19th century.
Getting there by public transport
From Toulon, the TER train takes about 20 minutes to Hyères station, and from Marseille Saint-Charles it takes about 1h15 to 1h30 with connections. From the town centre, Réseau Mistral bus line 67 reaches the port in about 18 minutes from the Jean Jaurès stop. Toulon-Hyères airport is a few kilometres from the centre and a Mistral bus links it to the centre and the station.
