About the boat
The Capelli Tempest 1000 WA is a 10.6 m (35 ft) RIB from 2010, built by Cantieri Capelli, an Italian yard founded in 1974 at Spinadesco near Cremona. It has a cabin with a bed for two, a small bathroom with electric toilet and shower, a small kitchen with fridge, a 300 hp engine, and takes up to 14 guests.
Location
Port Saint-Pierre in Hyères lies on the Var coast between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, facing the Golden Isles of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. Boats to Port-Cros and Le Levant leave from the port itself, while boats to Porquerolles leave from La Tour Fondue on the Giens peninsula. Hyères was one of the first winter resorts of the Riviera in the 19th century.
Getting there by public transport
From Toulon, take the TER to Hyères station, about 20 minutes. From the town centre, Réseau Mistral bus line 67 runs from the stop Jean Jaurès to the port in about 18 minutes.
